Common questions

Do you really not charge per message or per conversation?

Correct. Your chater subscription is a flat monthly price regardless of how many conversations you handle. The only usage-based cost is Meta’s own charge for business-initiated WhatsApp template messages, which Meta bills directly to your WhatsApp Business account. We add nothing on top.

Can I bring my existing WhatsApp number and Instagram account?

Yes. chater connects to accounts you already own: your WhatsApp Business number, your Instagram professional account and your Facebook Page. They remain yours, and you can disconnect at any time.

How long does setup take?

Most brands are live within days. Connecting channels takes minutes; the rest is teaching the AI your catalog, policies and tone, which we do with you during onboarding. Timelines can vary with Meta’s own business-verification steps.

What happens when the AI doesn’t know the answer?

It says so, and escalates. You define the rules: the AI can flag a conversation for your team, pause itself and notify you, and any teammate can take over a thread with one tap.

What’s the difference between Core and Pro?
